Crushes are a common thing nowadays. Girls and boys tend to get a little crazy when it comes to crushes and if they're not careful, their crush can become an idol in their life.. I can sadly say that this has happened to me. You MUST keep God first with any relationship/crush. In the fall of last year I started to like this boy. I liked him a lot but it got to the point that talking to him started becoming more important than talking with God. One of the ten commandments is to never let anyone or anything come before him. Lets say that you and a boy/girl like each other or you're dating someone. If you and your crush/boyfriend pursue each other, it won't end well. If you both pursue God, you will meet each other at God and have a great Godly relationship. In the image below it is a picture example of what I was saying about pursuing God.

If you tried to pursue each other, you wouldn't get anywhere. But as you can see, if you try to pursue each other you will meet up at the "top" while keeping God in the center of your relationship.

"Love is patient and love is kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand it's own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. Love does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
